Pregnancy Massage in Sydney
You deserve a moment that is fully yours. Our pregnancy massage in Sydney works with your changing body, easing aches, calming the mind and helping you rest deeply at last.
No more sleepless nights from hip pain. No more swollen ankles that won’t settle. No more feeling like you have to “just deal with it” until baby arrives. Our pregnancy massage is your permission to feel comfortable again.

Most pregnancy massage in Sydney is a regular massage with extra pillows tucked in. Ours is built from the ground up for the body you have right now. Hormones shifting, joints loosening, hips wider, lower back working overtime, all of it.
Think of it as a full hour of slow, careful work where every position, every pressure point, every stroke is chosen for where you are this week, not last month.
We start where you carry the most, usually the lower back, hips and shoulders. From there, we move to the legs, where heaviness and swelling tend to settle as the day wears on. Calves, ankles, feet, all warmed and worked until they feel lighter. We finish at the neck, jaw and scalp, the places that quietly tighten when you brace through discomfort, sleep poorly or worry about everything at once. Nothing rushed, nothing skipped.
This is the kind of pregnancy massage in Sydney that mothers come back to, again and again, because it actually feels like care, not a quick service slot.
A trusted Sydney name in pregnancy care
Atma Wellbeing has cared for pregnant clients across Sydney since 2008. That is more than fifteen years of mums passing through our doors at every stage, from those quietly hopeful first weeks to the days right before birth and the tender months that follow. Saura, our founder, is a trained physiotherapist, and that clinical foundation runs through every session here.
Why women across Sydney book pregnancy massage with us
Some come for the back pain that creeps in around the second trimester. Some come for swollen ankles, or sleep that has all but disappeared. Most come for all of it, and the chance to slow down.
Others come because their physio mentioned us, or their midwife passed our name on, or a friend insisted it was the only thing that got her through the third trimester. We see clients preparing for their first birth and clients on baby number three. We see women managing high-risk pregnancies under their doctor’s guidance, and women who simply want a calm hour to themselves before everything changes again. Whatever brings you here, the answer is the same: slow down, breathe, be cared for.
Real Pain Relief
Aches in the lower back, hips and shoulders are the most common pregnancy companions. We work them out gently, week by week, so you can move through your day with less pain.
Lighter Legs
Swelling in the feet and ankles is the most common third-trimester complaint. Slow rhythmic work helps fluid move along, leaving your legs noticeably lighter for days afterwards.
Deeper Sleep
Pregnancy sleep is a strange beast, especially in the final stretch. The release of held tension during a session often translates to longer, calmer nights for the rest of the week.
Made For Now
Second trimester, third trimester, postpartum. Every session adjusts to the week you are in, with positions and pressure chosen based on what is happening in your body today.
A Pause for You
Once the baby comes, hours alone get rare. A pregnancy massage is one of the last truly quiet times you have, just you, your body and the version of you about to become a mum.
Quieter Mind
Anxiety, racing thoughts and mental load all live in the body too. A long, slow session brings the nervous system down a few notches, so the noise inside settles down with it.

From the Eastern Suburbs to the Inner West, from the Lower North Shore right out to the Northern Beaches, women drive to us from every corner of Sydney. They come because pregnancy massage at Atma is genuinely different from what they have found elsewhere.
That difference comes down to depth. Most pregnancy massage in Sydney is a relaxation session with side-lying positions and a few extra cushions. Ours starts from a clinical understanding of what the pregnant body needs, then layers in the warmth of someone who has done this thousands of times. We take pressure off the round ligament, work through the tight glutes that most therapists skip, and ease the upper back.
This is also where Power Touch® comes in, our signature method developed in-house over more than a decade. It blends remedial precision with lymphatic flow, which is exactly what a pregnant body responds to. Less swelling, better sleep, calmer hormones, and more space in places that have been bracing for months.
You leave the room feeling lighter, more spacious in your body, and noticeably more like yourself again. Even with the bump. Especially with the bump.
Our frequently asked questions
Where in Sydney are you, and is parking easy?
We are in Dee Why on the Northern Beaches, around twenty-five minutes from the Sydney CBD on a quiet day. There is street parking close to the clinic and a public car park a short walk away. Plenty of our pregnancy clients drive in from across Sydney, so we know the journey is part of the planning. We are happy to help time your appointment around traffic if it makes the trip easier.
What makes pregnancy massage in Sydney at Atma different from others?
Two things. The first is depth of training. Saura, our founder, is a physiotherapist, and our therapists are trained in remedial work, lymphatic drainage and our own Power Touch® method. The second is care. We do not rush. A session here is a full hour of being looked after, in a quiet space, with someone who actually knows pregnant bodies inside and out. That combination is harder to find than people expect.
How often should I book during pregnancy?
Most of our regulars come fortnightly through the second trimester and weekly in the final stretch. Some come once a month, right through. There is no perfect formula. The body tells you when it needs another session, and we are happy to help you build a rhythm that suits your week, your budget and your appetite for being looked after.
What should I wear, and what if I feel a bit awkward about my body?
Most clients undress to their underwear and stay covered with a sheet the whole time. If that does not feel right, you can keep loose layers on, and we will work around them. Pregnancy bodies change so fast, and feeling a bit unfamiliar in your own skin is part of the journey. There is no judgment here, just care.
I am overdue. Will the massage bring on labour?
Massage will not start labour on its own. Some clients book a session right at the end specifically because the body relaxes deeply, and that can sometimes encourage things along when the body is already nearly ready. There are no guarantees and nothing forced. The session is still about comfort, swelling, sleep and rest first.
Can I come back after the baby is born?
Yes, please. Postnatal massage is one of the things we do best, and most of our pregnancy clients return within the first six weeks. We work around feeding schedules, sore shoulders from holding the baby, abdominal recovery and the deep tiredness that nobody really prepares you for. Many bring the baby with them for the first visit.
